| Rare double hemisphere antique world map, copper-engraved, first published by Robert Morden in 1687 in his Atlas Terestris. The present example appeared in Patrick Gordon's Geography Anatomiz'd, London, 1716. California is clearly depicted as an island. The northwest coast of North America is uncharted. Australia is likewise unfinished, and a partial New Zealand appears. Condition: two vertical folds as issued, wide margins, edges of sheet chipped in places. Overall very good.
