Double Stone Wall - Little Billing
A delightful, hand colored aquatint equestrian print, showing horses jumping over a stone wall during a famous steeplechase. This is plate 3 from Charles Hunt's series The Grand Military Steeplechase Near Newmarket, March 24th, 1856. Drawn and engraved by Charles Hunt, and published by Ackermann & Company, in London. Wide margins; small stain in right margin from an old repaired tear, just touches image; very light overall toning, overall very good condition.
