A double-page, well-detailed antique map of Upper and Lower Canada, with individually hand-colored counties, published in Johnson & Ward's New Illustrated Family Atlas, New York, 1862. Lower Canada stretches from New Brunswick to the city of Montreal; Upper Canada from Ottawa to Michigan. With insets of Montreal, the Welland Canal, and Wolf Island. Shows cities, towns, villages, roads, railroads, canals, coastal features, rivers, lakes, and so forth. Very good condition. Reference: Phillips, Geographical Atlases, number 837.
