Antique county map of Mississippi, Louisiana, and Arkansas, from Colton's
Illustrated Cabinet Atlas
, an uncommon small folio atlas published only in 1859. The counties are individually hand-colored in pastel shades, and the map depicts cities, towns, villages, rivers, lakes, swamps, railroads, and more. A small inset of the 'Vicinity of New Orleans' is located at bottom left. Slight browning in margins, extending into image area in just one or two places, otherwise fine condition. No text on verso. Reference: Phillips,
Geographical Atlases
, number 4341.
