Currently we are featuring a selection of antique poultry prints, published in Lewis Wright's The Illustrated Book of Poultry, the best-known and most desirable of nineteenth-century English poultry prints. Popularly known as Cassell's Book of Poultry, after the publisher, these beautifully-colored, lithograph prints are highly sought after for their decorative appeal. Featuring vibrant colors and crisp execution, they look stunning in a variety of mats and frames, and are particularly well-suited to display in kitchens, restaurants, dining rooms, and so forth. Each print describes the poultry breed pictured, as well as the owner, and frequently any prizes or awards won by the breed. Published in 1890.
